Tool(s) to be learned
Articulate 360 (Storyline)
This project will be an interactive e-learning module created using Articulate Storyline that explores the development of the English language over time. Users will navigate a clickable timeline covering Old English, Middle English, Early Modern English, and Modern English. Each section will include brief explanations, language examples, and interactive elements such as definitions and quizzes to support learning.
I do not have prior experience using Articulate Storyline, and I want to learn how to design interactive e-learning content using this tool. My goal is to build skills in creating engaging digital lessons that go beyond static content by incorporating interactivity, navigation, and feedback. This will help me better understand instructional design principles and how technology can support learning in a structured and engaging way.
To learn Articulate Storyline, I will follow a structured and practical approach. I will begin with LinkedIn Learning’s Articulate Storyline Essential Training to build a foundation in navigation, triggers, layers, and slide design. I will then use Articulate’s official tutorials and YouTube videos to deepen my understanding of interactive features such as animations and quizzes. After completing the introductory tutorials, I will practice by creating small sample slides before building my full project. I will also use Articulate’s community forums and help documentation to troubleshoot challenges as they arise.
